Terms of Use
Last updated 24 October 2026
These terms are between you and FITSHOT LTD, the company that makes Paseo. By using Paseo you agree to them. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app; where these terms say more, they add to it.
What Paseo is
Paseo helps you read Spanish. Each day it offers short stories based on the day's news, written for learners at different levels, with exercises. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial learning.
How the stories are made
The stories are written for learners from published news reports. They are simplified for learning, so they leave details out, and although we check them, they can contain mistakes. They are not a news service: for anything that matters to you, read the original reporting. Nothing in Paseo is advice of any kind.
Your account
You can use Paseo without an account. If you sign in, keep access to your Apple or Google account safe, because it is how you reach your progress. You can delete your account at any time in the app's settings.
Subscriptions
Where Paseo offers a subscription, it is bought and billed through your Apple ID. The price and the length of any free trial are shown before you confirm. A subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in your Apple ID settings. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
What belongs to whom
Paseo, its stories, exercises, audio, design and name belong to FITSHOT LTD or its licensors. Please do not copy, republish or sell them, or use them to train other systems. The news events the stories describe belong to no one; the original reporting belongs to its publishers.
Fair use of the app
Do not misuse Paseo: no attempts to break or overload it, to reach data that is not yours, or to copy its content in bulk. We may suspend access that does.
Changes and availability
Paseo will change as we improve it, and a story or a feature may be removed. We may update these terms; if a change matters, we will tell you in the app before it applies.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. If you are a consumer, you keep all your rights under the law.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you can also bring a claim in your own courts and rely on the consumer law of where you live.
